AML Policy

1. Purpose

FX Signals Free is committed to preventing its Website and Services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, or other unlawful activities.

This policy explains the risk-based measures we may apply when providing paid services, processing transactions, establishing commercial relationships, or reviewing suspicious activity.

2. Nature of Our Business

FX Signals Free primarily provides trading signals, market information, and educational content.

We are not a bank, broker, exchange, money-transfer service, custodian, or investment manager. We do not accept trading deposits, hold client funds, execute trades on behalf of users, or provide users with brokerage accounts.

Payments for premium Services, where available, may be processed by independent third-party payment providers. Those providers may apply their own identity-verification, sanctions-screening, transaction-monitoring, and AML procedures.

3. Risk-Based Approach

We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to identifying and addressing financial-crime risks.

Factors we may consider include:

  • The user’s country or location;

  • Payment method and transaction pattern;

  • Inconsistent or suspicious account information;

  • Use of multiple identities or payment instruments;

  • Links to high-risk or sanctioned jurisdictions;

  • Unusual refund, chargeback, or payment activity;

  • Attempts to conceal the source of funds; and

  • Information provided by payment processors, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities.

4. Identity Verification

Depending on the Service, transaction, or level of risk, we or our payment providers may request information such as:

  • Full legal name;

  • Date of birth;

  • Residential or business address;

  • Email address and telephone number;

  • Government-issued identification;

  • Proof of address;

  • Business ownership information;

  • Source-of-funds information; or

  • Additional documents reasonably required for verification.

We may refuse, suspend, or cancel a transaction or Service if requested information is not provided or cannot be satisfactorily verified.

5. Sanctions and Restricted Persons

Users must not use our Services if they are subject to applicable financial sanctions, located in a prohibited jurisdiction, or acting on behalf of a sanctioned or prohibited person or entity.

We reserve the right to screen users and transactions against relevant sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse-media, and restricted-party databases where appropriate and legally permitted.

6. Prohibited Activities

The Services must not be used to:

  • Launder or conceal proceeds of crime;

  • Finance terrorism or prohibited organisations;

  • Circumvent financial sanctions;

  • Process stolen or unauthorised payment instruments;

  • Commit fraud, identity theft, or payment abuse;

  • Misrepresent the beneficial owner of funds;

  • Conduct transactions for undisclosed third parties;

  • Facilitate market manipulation or other financial misconduct; or

  • Carry out any activity prohibited by applicable law.

7. Transaction Monitoring

Where relevant, transactions may be reviewed for suspicious patterns. Reviews may be conducted by us or by our payment-processing partners.

We may delay, reject, refund, freeze, or investigate a transaction when legally permitted and reasonably necessary. A user may be asked to provide supporting documentation before access is restored or a transaction is completed.

8. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Where required by applicable law, suspected money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, or other criminal conduct may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

We may be legally prohibited from informing a user that a report has been filed or that an investigation is taking place.

9. Record Keeping

Where applicable, we may retain identity information, transaction records, verification documents, and compliance communications for the period required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

Personal information collected for AML purposes will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

10. Cooperation With Authorities

We may cooperate with lawful requests from courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, financial-intelligence units, payment providers, and other authorised bodies.

Information will only be disclosed where we have a lawful basis or legal obligation to do so.

11. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;

  • Use payment methods they are legally authorised to use;

  • Respond promptly to reasonable verification requests;

  • Notify us of suspected unauthorised activity; and

  • Refrain from using the Services for illegal purposes.

Providing false information or attempting to avoid verification may result in suspension or termination.

12. Policy Review

We may review and update this AML Policy to reflect changes in our Services, risk profile, payment arrangements, or applicable law.
